When Liberals are in charge, there are no ethics questions for their own. Liberals are allowed to do whatever they want and be excused for it. As Spiritof76 stated, that is until a Republican or a Conservative is involved. Then the Liberals get down right nasty! It is the old double standard policy that the Liberals have used as far as I can remember. The worst of it is that so many Americans just allow it and follow the Liberals like sheep being led to sheer! Just look at the Election of President Elect Obama. His whole campaign was an empty cavern but people loved it! They treat him as if he were a god come to absolve and deliver us. So many Americans have lost sight of what the Founding Fathers had in mind for this Country and the Leaders and the Media see this and use these people to continue to drive this Great Country into oblivion. It is amazing how obnoxious the Senate hearing on confirmation of Condeleza Rice from the Democrats had been compared to hospitality treatment of Obama nominees. It is so sad to see how low our country has sunk. Please tear up the Constitution. There is no requirement,either ethical or legal with power residing in one party. Congress has made Secretary of Treasury above our Constitution with no challenge from anybody! The hearings are further indication of US status as a banana republic.
