We can all moan and groan and complain about what St Barack is going to do and when he's going to do it, but the fact remains, elections have consequences. What did any one expect? that St Barack will all of a sudden renigue on his promises and everyone will sing Kumbaya, and everyone will laugh and joke about what the Messiah has done. Hardly. All I can tell you all is, hold on to what you've got, hide it if you can, because St Barack is coming with a steam shovel and scoop all the money available, whether we like it or not.

The Global Warming Hoax!
Does anybody in their right mind believe that Al Gore is spending $300,000,000 of his money for the betterment of mankind? Al is spending that money for propaganda aimed at convincing us that global warming is real and not science fiction. If carbon emissions by humankind cause global warming, then Al Gore's quest is hopeless. A single volcanic eruption can emit more carbon than man can emit during his entire time on this planet. I always follow the money trail.
Well Gee Whiz, look what I found!.Al Gore is Chairman & Founder
of a private equity firm called,Generation Investment Firm,(GIM).
It seems that GIM invests money in companies that lean towards being green. The color green meaning the predominant color in the environment & money. Al gore's big money scheme is based on the sale of carbon credit's,a.k.a.,carbon offset's. Please, for your own future,do your homework. Regards to all.QF

"...evidence of a complete and utter lack of reason."
Using my point above to found those comments shows that you still have not fully grasped the meaning of the American Revolution.
Nobody wants to go that far, it's plain.
When nothing else gets the attention of the ruling class, what else is left?
George Washington, Samuel Adams, Ben Franklin, et.al. were able to grasp the necessity of that drastic step.
Only a true heir of their legacy will be able to do so today.

"It’s coming to the point where armed insurrection may be necessary."

It's coming to the point where armed insurrection may be necessary. We don't want a war--nobody wants a war--but since "the power to tax involves the power to destroy," violence may be the only way to bring the swine in D.C. to heel. The big test of the Second Amendment (all bow) may be coming sooner than we expect.

It's getting harder to find anything of substance to tax which hasn't already been taxed, so now they're trying to tax the intangible. Any day now, there will be a tax on expressing our opinion in any comments section if we are not registered with an approved state or federal agency.
Ah, yes; The snake oil salesman of the 21st century!

This is not hard to believe, after all look who he has surrounded himself with. Kerry-no nothing do nothing, Clinton- chief crook and no bottle washer. Also on Meet the Press one of obamas people made the statemant that on 1/20/09 he would"RULE". Lets see if that statement proves to be correct.

The problem with people who speak of the environment is they have no real understanding of natural variation, ala Gilbert, Largo. Is this a statistically significant difference or natural variation? You are taking a snapshot in time and there are many more factors involved. The vast majority of CO2 is made buy (drum roll please) - natural causes. Man made CO2 accounts for less than 1/10%. Let's not jump off the deep end. This could be far more dangerous than making pragmatic decisions about how to approach the situation of reducing pollutents. We ALL want a clean environment for our kids which makes it an emotional decision but fact and common sense have to prevail. Is our water and air not cleaner than it was 30 years ago (will the average temperature is cooler). 30 years ago we were headed toward an ice age. The political chirping is not about doing the right thing it's about money and that's want Mexico wants, greenbacks.

jjay, Louisville - He who hesitates is lost. We all know once government policy (politicians with new found powers) is set, it is very difficult to undo.
