SNL Does Auto Bailout Right

SNL hit a homerun with their opening skit this weekend hitting Congress and the Big Three on the inevitable auto bailout. The best exchange is between Fred Armisen (as Barney Frank) and Will Forte (as GM CEO Chuck Wagoner):

Frank: Uh, Mr. Wagoner as I look over your proposal it seems like just a list of dates covering the next five years and an amount of federal money you will be asking for on those dates.

Wagoner: Exactly. Is this not what you had in mind?

Frank: No. No it isn’t.

We would be more than happy to embed NBC’s version of the skit, but for some reason they chose not to put it on their site.

The video link has been canceled. I checked on NBC.com and could not find this video. Interesting how quickly NBC removes the trueth.

the removal is freaky yet far from shocking, just wait…

Funny that the video is no longer available. I’ve had that happen to a few favorite videos on Youtube. (Do I need to mention they did not flatter to Obama?)
