Barack Obama pushes for a $500 billion stimulus.
Communist China announces a $586 billion economic stimulus.
Barack Obama is pushing for a government bailout of U.S. auto makers conditioned on putting “a government representative on the boards of rescued auto makers, to ensure they hew to conditions attached to the loans, including the rapid development of a more fuel-efficient fleet of vehicles.”
In communist China, car companies “are looking for more government grants to help them develop hybrid gasoline-electric cars and other cutting-edge technologies.”
The free world properly labels China as “Authoritarian Capitalists.” Barack Obama adviser David Bonior says the U.S. needs to adopt “enlightened capitalism.”
What exactly is the difference?

Are we like them or are they like us? The Chinese stimulus package is being called "The New Deal with Chinese Characteristics" by Beijing spokesman…
If you were in communist China, you would be arrested on the spot for criticizing the government the way you do.
PRC and Russia under Putin have gravitated to the dictatorship-capitalism or more like Fascism. That is where we are headed with all the bailouts and tax incentives to prop up technologies that wouldn't make it otherwise. With regards to the freedom of speech, we will probably end up within a short time where China is today. Recall, the Ohio State employees colluded with the media to dig up personal information on Joe the Plumber recently to hurt him personally and I don't see anybody going to jail on account of that illegal activity. How about Mr. Kurtz who had written critical articles about Obama during the election was prevented from being interviewed in a Chicago radio station through intimidation of the station?
All we need to get on par with the PRC is to establish a square in Washington DC equivalent to the Tienanmen Square of Beijing with the portrait of Obama prominently displayed there.
We send money to China, they send us cheap goods. We send them jobs, they take our place in the world. They lend us tons of money, then get tired of lending so they stop lending, we go into a depression. They win, because they will begin shipping to other countries when they don't need us anymore.
