  • Czars We Can Believe In

czarnick.jpgThe communists that dethroned Czar Nicholas II were the first to implement “central planning” but President-elect Barack Obama is doing his best to match both the czar’s and the communist’s commitment to autocratic style. Just this week alone there have been reports of an auto czar, an energy czar, and a technology czar. God forbid a sector of our economy should be allowed to operate without orders from the Winter Place er Kremlin er White House.

Well, it _is_ change. Not change _I_ can believe in, but there do seem to be a lot of believers. I wonder what proportion of them pay Federal income taxes and local property taxes?

    2. Vaillancourt, France says:

Czars good! All hail the cult of personality and supreme power. I predict a borzoi in every pot! Life under a czar can only be good, right? Serf's up! Yee haw!!!

    3. Gregory Koster, Tumw says:

Dear Mr. Carroll: Cheer up. Not every czar has this impact. Ask Douglas Lute.

Why, he's an Army Lt. Gen, Geo. W.'s "War Czar" appointed in July 2007:

Where's his reign of terror? Perhaps this is the czar model we've been waiting for, that we can believe in, that will fill us with hope.

      Sincerely yours,

      Gregory Koster

You must sit back and take a breath. This is what the voters wanted; they did not want a work and get rewarded system on economic government. They wanted and voted for a give me rewards and someone else work economic government.

Remember these are the people who make 'The Simpsons" a big hit on TV. They get their news from 'The Daily Show' and think these are hard times. Just wait; Jimmy Carter will be viewed as a visionary!

They voted and deserve what they get. "Brother can you spare a dime"

    5. John says:

Let's face it. We're screwed. The US is no longer a free country. And Big Government Bush didn't help any, either.

    6. rebecca says:

Praise God we have elected a man who turned down corporate millions to be a constitutional attorney! America has spoken!

Big Government Is NOT the Answer

Your tax dollars are being spent on programs that we really don't need.
