The NYT said it was because Joe "complained about taxes," which I'm not sure is unprecedented in American history. Why do they care about all these details of Joe's life? Even if every single one of them were true, what would it prove? It's almost like they're desperate to destroy a plumber from Ohio because otherwise they'll have to stop and explain why Obama didn't really out himself as a socialist.
