Dear Nancy Pelosi: you were not elected to "SAVE THE PLANET". You were elected to do what is best for "THE AMERICAN PEOPLE"! We are not concerned about breathing clean air as wondrous things have been done here to reduce emissions( you might check on China though). We are more concerned about JOBS, ENERGY INDEPENDENCE, OUR ECONOMY, and OUR MORALITY. You and that disgusting democrat party of yours has basically destroyed ALL THE OF THE ABOVE!!! No DEAR, BUSH is not to blame. ITS YOU, THE DEMOCRATS, AND THE LIBERAL/AGENDA-DRIVEN MORONS IN THE NEWS MEDIA, and lets throw in HOLLYWIERD TOO! THANK YOU FOR DESTROYING AMERICA!!!THE OLYMPICS IS ALL WE HAVE LEFT>

I was impressed with McCain during the forum more than I have been. While I remain wary due to his stands on immigration and climate change, I enjoyed his decisive answers to abortion and evil in the world. Simply put, we have to defeat evil. While Obama strained to state a impressive answer and see all sides, McCain saw one side: good vs evil.

I blame the Democratic elected congress and house who hold the majority for.

1.	The current energy crisis and there unwillingness to act in the interest of the American people by embracing the new drilling technology. Although it is true that just drilling is not all the answer it is part of the answer and we need to get started on it and other projects. Because of Democratic elected to congress and house and there policies we are send billions of dollars to countries that support terrorist and attack our troops.
2.	Not supporting our troops and creating confusion in support of our troops and there mission. This is a war like none other we have been in before an all out war on terrorist. The terrorist use non-conventional methods in attacking our troops such as suicide bombers, beheading, hiding within civilian ranks. the killing of civilians, roadside bombs, etc.
3.	Immigration crisis by not supporting and enforcing the current laws.

I watched the debate with great interest on Saturday and came away thinking why the news media doesn't ask the canditates more of these specific questions on social issues. This matter of being "politically correct" has to be eliminated form our debates to have open and honest discussions. This openess was refreshing to hear and hope to see more of it. As a voter, both canditates did well on giving me the opertunity to vote on issues that are important to me. After this debate, I know who to vote for.

I didn't watch it, but what I read of the session it sounds like a thoughtful exploration of important topics that highlighted some clear differences between the two men, especially on the Supreme Court. It's unfortunate the representatives of the so-called mainstream media seem incapable of producing similar forums. Unfortunately their (deeply felt, I suspect) bias against faith, particularly conservative Christian faith, makes it impossible for them to ask serious balanced questions about issues such as marriage, parenting, abortion, stem cell research, federal funding of faith-based programs and the like. So kudos to Rick Warren for getting those topics out there in an evenhanded fashion, although I imagine few, if any, minds were changed.

I thought the Saddleback forum was a step in the right direction. Way better than the "Thunder Dome " debates. By the way, For years I have thought that a 50 question questionnaire should be filled out by each candidate in writing. They should have to answer each key issue at some length so that voters could compare documented views in actual text instead of attempting to make an intelligent choice from spin and biased sound bites. Oh ,these questionnaires need to be written out in person under the watchful eye of Miss Becker, my fourth grade teacher. No one cheated in Miss Becker's class. No One!
