June 18 (Bloomberg) -- Edmund Phelps, a professor at Columbia University and winner of the 2006 Nobel Prize for economics, talks with Bloomberg's Tom Keene about Federal Reserve monetary policy, the U.S. dollar's decline and the rise in oil prices.
Phelps, a Columbia University professor, co-invented modern macroeconomics—the study of aggregate output, inflation, and unemployment, and the policies that affect them. The ideas that all mainstream economists now carry around in their heads.
The rats are jumping overboard as the economic ship sinks. Go listen to Edmund Phelps and his latest revelation on how productivity may not be the direction we need to be going in, and he states that the future for the U.S. economic growth is over, and nothing short of an unforeseen next big thing like another internet boom will revive us. He now sees that we will continue to loose jobs and collapse for as far into the future as we can see. Trickle down economics has trickled out, and the Republicans are looking like ass-clowns. The big globalist visionary men see a new paradigm for America, and it does not look good. Free Trade just got body slammed!!!

Why is this budget NOT surprising? Oh yeah, because raising taxes is what liberals like to do!

As Americans, we need to send a message to Congress that we will not accept the wasteful spending of OUR money. At least we have three Democrats who understand the problem...

But, where is the Republican alternative budget? The Republicans are beginning to act like the Democrats of a few years ago who simply objected to everything but never provided an alternative. Further, the Republican allowed the federal government to grow under their "leadership."

Where are America's conservative principles?
